Orlandrew Danzell

 

Dr. Orlandrew E. Danzell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Intelligence Studies. He received a Ph.D. in Security Studies from Kansas State University in May 2011. He earned an M.A. in Political Science from Kansas State University in 2007 and B.As in History and Political Science from Cameron University in 2003 (Summa Cum Laude).

Dr. Danzell’s research focuses on international/domestic terrorism and national security. His research uses both quantitative and qualitative methods to develop and test new theoretical insights on these themes. Dr. Danzell’s work has appeared in the Journal of Conflict Resolution and he has several other projects under review. He is currently working on research examining the reorganization of the intelligence community post-9-11.

Dr. Danzell teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses within the Department of Intelligence Studies. His teaching interests include national security, international/domestic terrorism, research methods, and HUMINT. This fall, Orlandrew will offer RIAP 177 Introduction to Intelligence Analysis and INTL 633 Studies in Terrorism.
