Christopher J. Anderson, a graduate of the intelligence studies program at Mercyhurst College, has been awarded the FBI Director’s Award for Excellence in Intelligence Analysis, which recognizes Bureau employees for their extraordinary contributions to the FBI’s mission.
“While I am appreciative of the award, I am equally appreciative of the practical training I received at Mercyhurst,” said Anderson, who has been an FBI analyst since he graduated in 2008. “The recognition is truly a testament to the education I received at Mercyhurst and the professional nature of the Mercyhurst intelligence studies program.”
In addition to earning the Director’s Award this past summer, Anderson also completed his master’s degree in strategic intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College.
A native of Rochester, N.Y., Anderson currently lives in Washington, D.C.
